Thompson Enters Fall Nationals XV at RPM

Cody Thompson headed to Kansas on Friday to enter the opening round of the Fall Nationals XV. Thirty four IMCA Modifieds entered the event and Cody passed three cars in his heat race to finish second. He went on to advance from the third-starting spot in his prelim feature to finish second in the 15 lapper behind winner Jacob Hobscheidt.

On Saturday night Thompson started fourth on the feature grid and raced up to the second position before jumping the cushion. He rebounded from the miscue to finish fifth behind Jacob Hobscheidt, Tanner Black, Anthony Roth, and Dakota Sproul.
