Thompson Races at Clay County

The Salute to Veterans program at Clay County Fair Speedway (Spencer, Iowa) brought Cody Thompson and 29 other entries to the oval on Wednesday night.

After starting and finishing sixth in his heat race, Cody was relegated to the B-Main. He passed two cars in the B-Main to lock into the 19th-starting spot for the 20-lap feature.

The night's finale saw him advance five positions to finish 14th.
