Podium finish in Tiny Lund Memorial at Shelby County
The 32nd annual Tiny Lund & Brandon Saltzman Memorial brought Cody Thompson to Shelby County Speedway (Harlan, Iowa) on Saturday to pilot his Dakota Coating Solutions No. 25 Modified.
Against 25 Modifieds, Thompson cruised into the $1,800-to-win main event with a heat race victory. Rolling off on the third row, Cody climbed three positions in the 20-lap affair to finish third. He joined race-winner Todd Shute and Josh Most on the podium.
Thompson's trip to Interstate Speedway (Jefferson, SD) on Sunday was cut short on lap 11 of the feature.
