Thompson shows speed before lights dim at Park Jefferson
Cody Thompson raced close to home on Friday as part of a 16-car IMCA Modified field at Park Jefferson Speedway in North Sioux City, South Dakota.
In the quarter-mile track’s Season Opener Sizzle, Thompson steered his Xtreme Lubricants No. 25c ride from fifth to third in his heat race.
However, the lights went out before the night’s feature events and will be completed in the coming weeks.
