Thompson fifth in IMCA Late Model appearance at Park Jefferson
Sioux City, Iowa's Cody Thompson rallied big in his Friday night appearance at Park Jefferson International Speedway in Jefferson, South Dakota, concluding the evening's IMCA Late Model card with a fifth-place outcome, charging ahead from the outside of row five. Although only 14 cars made the call, the field was stout, all of whom outclassed by Malvern, Iowa's Jesse Sobbing.
Thompson opened action with a fourth-place finish in his respective heat race; Sobbing won his heat, as well.
